Quaker Chemical Corporation Awarded Chemical Management Contracts for Caterpillar, Belgium and ACI, France Plants
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., May 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR - News) has been named the management services provider for a Caterpillar Inc. manufacturing plant in Gosselies, Belgium, and two ACI (Renault) plants, in Le Mans and Villeurbanne, France.
The Caterpillar plant, which manufactures heavy construction equipment in Belgium, is its largest facility in Europe. Under the three-year management contract, Quaker will be responsible for control of all process chemicals and will implement continuous improvement and chemical waste reduction programs.
The ACI plants, part of Renault's automotive division, manufacture steering and suspension components for Renault and other automobile manufacturers worldwide. Under the three-year contracts for the two France locations, Quaker will be responsible for all process chemicals and will implement a zero-coolant-waste recycling program and a chemical waste reduction program.
Quaker Chemical Management Services offers completely flexible management services to major automotive producers, heavy equipment manufacturers, and aerospace companies worldwide.
