Quaker Chemical Corporation Prices Public Offering of Common Stock
CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa., May 5, 2011 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ --
Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR) today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 1,100,000 shares of its common stock, offered at a price to the public of $40.50 per share. Quaker has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an aggregate of 165,000 additional shares of common stock to cover overallotments, if any. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by Quaker. The offering is expected to close on or about May 10, 2011, subject to customary closing conditions.
Jefferies & Company, Inc. is acting as sole book-running manager for the offering. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC is acting as co-lead manager for the offering. KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc. is acting as co-manager for the offering.
Quaker intends to use the net proceeds from the offering to repay a portion of the indebtedness outstanding under its primary credit facility.
