Quaker Chemical Corporation (NYSE: KWR) announced yesterday it acquired G.W Smith & Sons Inc. Based in Dayton, Ohio, G.W. Smith & Sons is a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of die cast lubricants, metalworking lubricants, and machining fluids that has been a leading innovator in the die cast lubricant industry for over 70 years.

Smith & Sons will be able to offer their DIE SLICK® release agents, PLUNGER SLICK® plunger lubricants and HYDRO SLICK® machining fluids to Quaker customers.
